At the heart of the Wuben X1Pro is a redesigned reflector system that has spotlight and floodlight illumination modes. This enables users to switch between a beam-focused and longer-range visibility or a broader area of illumination with a rating of 12,300 lumens.
This tiny Zippo-sized flashlight has it all. The Wuben G5 has a 180-degree rotating head, making it extremely versatile. Then, instead of clicking the button multiple times to change the brightness like on other lights, there's a built-in rotating dial that adjusts the brightness between 2 and 400 lumens.
As is standard with Wuben’s X series flashlights, the X5 has an angular, futuristic tech-like flat design. It’s all 6061 aluminum, with type 3 hard anodization in either black or gray. The body is one large CNC-machined piece with a panel on the side with the dial and USB-C charging port for assembly.
The magnetic Wuben G5 features a light with 400 maximum lumens and an illumination distance of 82 meters. It offers three different brightness levels of cold white light, and buyers can use the pulley switch to engage an auxiliary RGB light that can produce seven different colors.
What I like even more about the G5 is that it’s very good at just being a flashlight. Instead of stepping through brightness presets, the flashlight has a wheel for quickly dialing in exactly how much illumination you need, from just 2 lumens to up to 400.
At just 52 grams, the Wuben G5 packs 400 lumens of constant output with a 2,000-lumen burst mode for those moments when you need to see everything, fast. Its swiveling head rotates 180 degrees, so you can clip it to a hat brim, pack strap, or tent loop and aim the beam exactly where you need it.
The Wuben X1 Pro is a very bright outdoor flashlight. It has a sturdy aluminum alloy body, dual beams with 13,000 lumens of max brightness, and plethora of options for the shape and brightness of the light.
Wuben seems to be making a habit of making some of the most exciting flashlight designs we’ve seen in recent memory. The X0 and X2 delivered futuristic designs in handy sizes, utilizing a 90-degree design and a side-by-side triple LED configuration, respectively, while offering plenty of output and thoughtful features that made them excellent everyday lights.
