❓FAQs
When charging the X3 in the charging box, why does it produce sound? When the X3 is placed in the charging box for recharging, the occurrence of sound can be attributed to the intricate workings of the inverter circuit during the external power supply process. The inverter circuit, essential for power provision, generates alternating current within the audio frequency spectrum. To facilitate this transformation, an inductor coil is employed. Consequently, under the influence of a substantial current, the coil undergoes vibrations, manifesting as subtle auditory cues.
In addition, the proximity of electronic devices introduces the possibility of magnetic field interference, further contributing to the audible phenomena during the charging process.
Why does the Wuben X3 stop charging after reaching 80%?
First, try wiping the contact points inside the charging compartment and the bottom of the flashlight with a damp cloth or alcohol. After cleaning, attempt charging again to check if the issue persists. Additionally, press the flashlight downwards to ensure firm contact, then resume charging to observe if the issue persists.
How to lock the screen on the X3?
Simply press the button four times in quick succession to lock the screen.

I purchased the X3 in December 2023 and used it sparingly carried it in my pocket while on a run or biking and currently the flashlight has a mind of its own ,charges intermittently and works after playing with the on off button ,The lcd screen that lets you know percentage of battery remaining also is non functioning, with that said I tried several times to get customer service support not only do they seem to try to exhaust you by not responding but when they finally do respond they request photos videos , and I am ok with that even then after weeks of your evidentiary review they ask additional questions like did you go swimming with light , was it used on the last Tuesday in August because that voids any warranty , that was a joke but clearly their warranty claim is only as good as what they stand by and from my experience not much , so future purchasers please beware of what your dealing with prior to spending premium dollars for not so much premium service .
Hi Charles,
Thank you for your feedback on the X3. We’ve passed your suggestions to our development team. If we create similar accessories in the future, we’ll send you one for review. Thanks again!

Hello,
I just recently bought an X3 OWL EDL. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! The design and build of the X3 is SOLID! It feels durable and very reliable. Easy to use with simplicity. The ONLY DOWNSIDE, it does not have a lot of accessories, such as a holster just like for the flashlights. I like to keep my equipments safely protected and clean. The holster needs to keep the X3 secured but at the same time be used for backpacks and side mounts (would be nice if there’s a charger imbedded in the holster). Maybe the Wuben engineering team can design something like that.
Adding an accessory ( holster ) for the X3 would increase the versatility and market value for this WELL KNOWN POPULAR PRODUCT. Kindly please forward this message to the design team. Hopefully they can put something together and have me test it out. Looking forward to talking to you. I FULLY SUPPORT THE WUBEN PRODUCTS. Thank you very much.
Sincerely,
Charles
