Product Support FAQs
If your flashlight is not turning on, please follow the troubleshooting steps below:
1. Check Insulation Sheet: Ensure that the insulation sheet has been removed.
2. Charge and Verify Charging: Charge the flashlight to eliminate any charging issues.
3. Battery Compatibility: Test with the same type or a compatible battery.
4. Direct Charging Test: Plug the flashlight directly into a power source to check if it lights up. If it does, it may indicate a battery problem; if not, it could be a circuit/switch issue.
5. Tighten Tail Cap: Use a screwdriver to securely tighten the lock piece on the tail cap.
6. Follow Unlocking Instructions: Follow the provided instructions to unlock the flashlight.
7. Clean Connections: Wipe the connections clean with alcohol or a dry cloth.
8. Check Screw Tightness: Ensure all connection parts, especially the flashlight body and end, are tightly screwed.
9. Charging Port on Tail Cap: If the charging port is on the tail cap, turn off the flashlight, plug it into power, and then press the switch again.
10. Check the indicator color: solid red indicates a defective battery, red to green suggests a bad contact.
If the issue persists after performing the above steps, please don't hesitate to contact us at service@wubenlight.com. Provide your order number or a screenshot of the receipt, and our customer service team will assist you with suitable solutions.

It is normal for high-powered flashlights to generate heat, especially with higher lumens in a compact body, which can result in increased temperature, around 60 degrees. To manage this, the flashlight automatically reduces its output to minimize heat. Turbo mode and high brightness are recommended for emergency situations, while medium and low brightness levels are suitable for regular use. If you find the flashlight too hot, consider lowering the brightness accordingly.
The factors contributing to a foggy lens are as follows:
1. Excessive Moisture in Heat-conducting Glue: If the heat-conducting glue used contains an excess of water, the water may vaporize onto the lens during heating.
2. High Humidity in the Environment: Operating the flashlight in a highly humid environment can contribute to lens fogging.
3. Heat-induced Condensation: When the flashlight is turned on, it generates heat. When this heat encounters the cooler glass surface, condensation may occur, resulting in mist formation. This is a normal physical phenomenon.
Why is the Wuben X Series unable to power on or lock? To power on or lock the Wuben X Series product, it is essential to perform rapid consecutive presses, precisely four times within a 0.5-second timeframe.
When the X3 is placed in the charging box for recharging, the occurrence of sound can be attributed to the intricate workings of the inverter circuit during the external power supply process. The inverter circuit, essential for power provision, generates alternating current within the audio frequency spectrum. To facilitate this transformation, an inductor coil is employed. Consequently, under the influence of a substantial current, the coil undergoes vibrations, manifesting as subtle auditory cues.
In addition, the proximity of electronic devices introduces the possibility of magnetic field interference, further contributing to the audible phenomena during the charging process.
First, try wiping the contact points inside the charging compartment and the bottom of the flashlight with a damp cloth or alcohol. After cleaning, attempt charging again to check if the issue persists. Additionally, press the flashlight downwards to ensure firm contact, then resume charging to observe if the issue persists.
Simply press the button four times in quick succession to lock the screen.
To lock the screen on the X0, start by avoiding accidental touches. Then, quickly press the button four times in a span of 0.5 seconds.
While in the ON state, activate the SOS mode by quickly pressing the switch three times in succession. Please avoid turning off the power before performing the triple press. While this operation may seem prone to user error, it can be repeated as needed for seamless activation.
Why can't customers from other countries purchase batteries? Currently, we exclusively sell batteries to customers in the United States. This is due to variations in import and export policies across different countries, with most countries categorizing standalone batteries as hazardous materials, leading to transportation restrictions. Customers from other countries interested in purchasing batteries can contact our customer service for assistance or refer to the product manual to source compatible batteries locally.
