Nice flashlight, especially for the cost. For most purposes, there's no need to spend more. It is made out of aluminum and has IP68 rating, so it should be durable and last a long time.
The L50 comes with a 2600mAh batter, which I also think is a good choice and value. I have another flashlight with a 5000mAh battery and that flashlight is significantly bigger and heavier, not to mention about 5x the price. Outside of a few instances, I don't have any need for the more expensive, heavier and brighter flashlight over the Wuben L50.
I like that it just has one button, and pressing it part way adjusts brightness. Many flashlights have too many features and buttons when most people probably just need on and off. That said, when you push the button part way, you can make it brighter or dimmer. There is an odd quirk that every time you turn the light off and back on, it's at a different brightness. I think it registers the half press when you turn it on and off. I'd probably prefer it always start at the dimmest setting, but it takes maybe one or two seconds to cycle through the different brightness settings, so outside of some sort of really niche use case, it really doesn't matter.
I also like that it charges via USB C. A lot of more budget friendly flashlights still use micro USB. It's a small thing, but I'm sure I'm not alone in my quest to have all my electronics be USBC.
This flashlight is quite well done and works great. It is very true to the 'standard flashlight design and that can be an excellent thing. Its kind of a mix of tactical and EDC and I think it wears it well. The light is bright and gives off a nice beam. 1200 lumens a great feel are all that is really needed. Seems very durable and I don't feel like I have to baby this. I wish it had USB-C and a little faster charging, but it is a few years old now and it still works very well, all things considered.
The things I like about it is that it is durable metal finish. It is USB-C. It's hard to bolt and it has a clip on the side which you could use it to clip onto various things. I like that it has a push button for it on the end as well.
I'm not a super fan of the hotspot in the center of the light, but it is very bright and has four different modes.
I have purchased 3. I use this light every day at work. Super durable and bright. Battery lasts long enough to get through the day. Comparable to flashlights that cost much more.
Bought this after seeing my brothers. It’s super bright but can be adjusted to lower light levels. Very convenient. Haven’t need to recharge it yet so I can’t comment on how long it lasts on a charge but was told it quite some time.
Great flashlight i use it everyday only thing now is they need to update charging port to the c port
